EXPORT CREDIT AGENCY & CPRI ADVISORY

When we serve as a Financial Advisor, we also design the interest rate risk, currency, or inflation hedging strategies for the transaction.

Our clients rely on us to understand the risks they are taking when placing a binding bid for a new project and to help them quantify and mitigate those risks.

We have developed proprietary pricing tools that permit our clients to quantify those risks, benchmark, and deconstruct the often opaque pricing of the derivative instruments embedded in our projects’ financing plans.

We conduct a comprehensive investigation, audit, and finally review, which is carried out by our consultants and through third-party verification systems such as CRB and Bank letter confirmations. to verify facts, validate information, and assess risks before entering into agreements or transactions.

1. Installation, Integration, and Management of Ten (10) Virtual Weighbridge Stations

● Client: Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA)

● Scope of Works:

● Participation:

○ Contract Management: Served as the Contracts Administrator, overseeing the 36-month assignment.

○ Project Execution: Managed the supply and commissioning of HS WIM systems, conducted data analysis from the virtual stations, and provided training to users on the equipment and technology.

● Contract Value: KES 514,652,088.89

● Dates: October 2017 – February 2021

2. Design, Supply, and Installation of Weighbridge Equipment at Rongo Station

●Client: Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA)

●Scope of Works: Design and installation of multi-deck weighbridge equipment, high-speed weigh-in-motion (HSWIM) screening lanes, ANPR and CCTV camera systems, and integration with the existing weighbridge management software.

●Participation:

○Project Management: Our team served as a project manager overseeing a team of up to 75 staff and managing the full project lifecycle using a Waterfall framework.

○Bidding & Document Preparation: Our team led the preparation and approval of method statements, designs, and drawings.

○Contract Management: We managed the final installation and partial handover, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and establishing maintenance support.

●Contract Value: KES 65,995,181.40 + €1.25M

●Dates: March 2021 – May 2024 (Handover and Acceptance)

3. Installation, Integration, and Management of 13 Virtual Weighbridge Stations

●Client: Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA)

●Scope of Works: Deploying HSWIM systems, ANPR/CCTV technology, and ICT connectivity across 13 locations on the National Trunk Road Network to automate load control.

●Participation:

○Document Preparation: Our team handled the submission of method statements, system designs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

○Contract Management: Our team acted as the Contracts Administrator, coordinating implementation and ensuring technical integration with existing KeNHA systems—managed security integration, including encrypted firewalls and site biometrics.

●Contract Value: KES 886,604,988.65 (approx. USD 8.27M)

●Dates: February 2020 – December 2021 (Concluded)

4. Management, Maintenance, and Operations of Multi-Site Weighbridge Stations

●Client: Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA)

●Scope of Works: Comprehensive management of operations, maintenance, and load control for several key stations and their adjacent road networks.

●Participation:

○Contract Management: Our team served as the Contracts Administrator for all sites, managing large teams (up to 100 staff) and ensuring service level agreement (SLA) compliance.

○Project Management: Our team oversaw daily operational efficiency, resource allocation, and continuous station uptime.

5. Construction of Dhogoye Bridge and Approach Roads

●Client: Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA)

●Scope of Works: Large-scale civil works for the bridge construction on the Kisian – Usenge – Osieko (B10) Road.

●Participation:

○Contract Management: Our team acted as the Contracts Administrator for the joint venture, managing budgeting and adherence to the construction schedule.

●Contract Value: KES 1,999,349,505.60

●Dates: March 2020 – December 2022 (Projected completion)

6. Construction of One Stop Border Post (OSBP) at Rusizi II

●Client: Rwanda Transport Development Agency (RTDA) / TradeMark Africa

●Scope of Works: Phase 1 civil works for the construction of border post facilities at Rusizi II, Rwanda.

●Participation:

Bidding & Bidding Documentation: Our team managed the initial bid preparation and technical documentation for the USD 6.7M contract.

Contract Management: Our team served as the authorized contractor’s representative, overseeing implementation and ensuring a high-quality handover to the client.

●Contract Value: USD 6,755,329.18

●Dates: October 2022 – December 2024 (Handover); Commissioned June 2025

●Scope of Works: Development and preparation of a comprehensive tender bid for the Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) services.

●Participation:

○Bidding & Document Preparation: Our team led the preparation of the full technical and commercial tender documentation as an external consultant.

○Project Management: Managed a global technical team to consolidate input, evaluate proposals, and ensure the bid met all KEBS requirements.

●Contract Value: USD 25,000,000.00

●Dates: 2025 – 2026 (Awarded in 2026)

8. Asset Management RAZEL BEC Kenya (Moi International Airport)

●Client: Razel Bec Kenya

●Scope of Works: Sale of Equipment, Machinery, and the shipment of assets owned by Razel Bec Kenya.

●Participation:

○Project Management: Our team developed and managed the sale of equipment to local corporations and high-end-networth individuals, arranged a storage facility to safeguard and maintain the security of the assets. Organised the logistics from the storage facility to Mombasa port for the remaining machinery and equipment.

●Contract Value: USD 1,500,000.00
